10/10/2025 Failed projects, but things must go on
Last time I talked about the Traveling Journal we were doing, but due to some slight drama on the group we had to delay the sending date until the end of this month
It doesn't bother me too much because it gives me more time to work on the Journal before I send it (I've totally already started... Not)
Regardless, that was put on hold for now. Another thing that has bummed me out is that I started adding subtitles to Heathers the Musical on Youtube,
but due to a glitch in the program I lost like 2h of work.
Captioning somthing is SO MUCH work! On the video I only lost like 10m, but it made me feel a bit defeated so I've set it aside. I wanted to show the musical with the subtitles to some of my friends, but alas.
The next time I see them we will watch Kiriku and the Witch at my house, I'll make a brownie and we will have snacks! I'm really looking forward to it.
Another friend related side quest, the daughter of one of my Korean friends (that friend of mine is my mom's age) is coming to visit me and staying 2 nights in my house!
She is my age, and we met for the first time this summer in Amsterdam. Funnily enough, I've slept a couple of nights in her room in Korea because her family hosted me for a couple of nights, while she was at the military!
So it's kind of like closing a cycle.
Since she is staying for barely a day and a half, I have our schedule packed with the most important things to visit (and eat!) in my city.
She has been traveling around Europe for a couple of months now, so I hope my city will be a highlight and not just one more on the list!
I've also signed up to a little art and craft market organized by my city's university, it'll be the first time I'll be selling my art and things irl, so I'm a bit nervous, but excited!
I've finished the Usagi Beret test and the Starlight Over Shetland shawl! I have to start with a cotton top commission for a friend. I definitely need some money,
I spent an embarrassing amount the other day at 4am on the Hobonichi restock for my 2026 lineup, I can't wait to have it and get to use it next year! I got the Tomie Weeks and the Tolight A6 cover ☆*:.。.o(≧▽≦)o.。.:*☆
21/09/2025 New Stuff and Life Update (っ ᵔ◡ᵔ)っ
It's been one week since I started tinkering at my website properly and I feel like I've learnt so much! It's making me really happy to build the website bit by bit, and figuring out how I want things to look. Right now I'm focusing on adding more content and pages, namely I've done the Knitting Corner and Tamagotchi Collection, right now they are galleries but I want to work on making little info pages for each project and collection item! Though that's pretty labour intensive, so I'll take it bit by bit rather than all at once. I'll post on my wall when it's all done, but feel free to pop in once in a while to see what has more content! ☆⌒(≧▽° )
Since right now I'm unemployed and staying at my parent's in Spain, I have a lot of time to knit and code, but I feel stuck in a perpetual feeling of "waiting".
This weekend a friend was supposed to come stay with me from the US, but she had to push back the trip, and it makes me anxious to not know the exact dates now. Another friend is also coming to stay with me for a couple of days,
this one from Korea! I'm really excited for both their visits, but I want them to happen already so I'm not just waiting. Likewise with my return to the Netherlands, since I can't do anything right now other
than gather my paperwork and wait for some doctor appointments I have before I can leave, it gives me a lot of anxiety to not be actively doing stuff for the visits/move/looking for a job (the horrors!) 〣( ºΔº )〣
Another project that I have in the works is a Traveling Journal!
I've gotten together with some other journalers from different countries in Europe and we will be sending each a journal to do the rounds between us all, we will be filling them over the months, and at the end each of us will have
a fun international journal to look back upon!
I hope it brings us together and perhaps we can develop proper friendships over time as we learn about each other (⁀ᗢ⁀) I'll be posting about it on my future Journaling page on here!
I've done penpalling before, and this is pretty similar but in a larger scale. I sadly fell out of my penpalling routine so I'm not currently doing any, but I hope to get back to it eventually.
15/09/2025 My first website attempt!
I fell down the rabbit hole of indie website exploration videos on youtube a month or so ago, and I saw what I had been missing, from an era I didn't even get to live online (I was born in 2001) but that felt so much more cozy and alive than the sterile internet of today.
Even though I have no coding experience, I decided to start playing with HTML and CSS and see what I could do. The answer was, not much!
It took me like 45 min to center an image on my first attempt. But it was so much fun to try different things, see what worked and what didn't.
Nonetheless, at the end of the day, I wanted a slightly more polished website so I decided to use a template from Petrapixel, which I plan on modifying as much as possible as I learn how things work and what I want from this little website of mine.
I want this page to work as a personal website and place to put all my collections (of which I have many, from my multiple hyperfixations over the years) and to explore my online creativity in more ways than just posting a picture on instagram from time to time.
Please enjoy my website, even though I'm still working on it and many things still don't work! I will keep updating and working on it as often as I can. Please sign my Guestbook! I will check it every day (≧◡≦) ♡
Things to work on!
- Create new pages to redirect to
- Take pictures and upload my collections
- Figure out how to make the center scrollable and the sidebars static
- Help my boyfriend with his own website
- Link to my projects and/or make individual project pages

Adopted from , now they are in love
